First edition. Elephant folio: 14 by 19 inches. Cloth spine, color pictorial boards. 18pp,

alternating colorful decorated text page with full color illustrations of fairies at play by

Ana Mae Seagren. A near fine copy with only a trace of soil and wear; The dustwrapper

has had some repair of closed tears, mostly on the back, and so shows a very good

appearance. Not often seen in such nice condition.

boarder surrounding a full color pasteon, a detail from the frontispiece. Illustrated with 16 full color

pasteon plates, along with additional black and white plates and vignettes.

Binding shows only trace of wear; a near fine copy.

First edition, first printing. Collector's Edition. 8vo. 179,(1)pp. Simulated leather, spine with

raised bands, silvercolored metal corners, center metal skull vignette and metal clasp, all with

blue stones. Ribbon marker.

Protected in a maroon velvet stringtop bag, bearing the

embroidered signature of J. K. Rowling in gilt thread, the whole housed in a bookshaped

clamshell case blocked in blind on the upper and lower boards, and on the spine in gilt. The case

is shaped within with a recessed compartment to fit the book in its velvet bag. Also within in

their own printed envelope are ten 7 by 10 inch Collector's Edition Prints which slip into a

special flap in the upper board.

A new copy, still in the original white slipcase cover, encased in clear plastic and in the original

shipping box.
